White Pines Condo Rental Policies & Tips

Reservation Payment:    Reservations will be confirmed upon availability of requested dates and receipt of a $700.00 reservation payment per week made payable by cheque, VISA or MasterCard. A reservation package will be sent to acknowledge receipt of your reservation payment and to confirm your vacation dates.

Full Payment: The final balance is due no later than 60 days prior to your vacation date. Three Buoys reserves the right to cancel any bookings Without Notice for which full payment has not been received 60 days prior. The total payment is due and payable if booked within the 60-day period.

Cancellation Policy:  Reservation payment is refundable less $250.00 administration fee per week if the reservation is cancelled prior to 60 days before check-in. Cancellations made less then 60 days prior to check-in will be refunded the full amount less $250.00 per week if the condo re-books. All cancellations must be in writing.

Check-In Time is 3:00pm Pacific Standard Time and is completed at Three Buoys Office conveniently located two blocks from White Pines. Our street address is 709 Riverside Avenue in Sicamous B.C. We will give you further directions to your condo upon your arrival.      

             *  Please remember that Sicamous BC is PST… not the same time as Alberta!  *

Check-Out Time is prior to 10:00am PST on the last day. All keys must be returned to Three Buoys Office.

Late Arrivals: Please note that Three Buoys provides complete after hour check-in services. No stress, do not panic if you are late!  If possible, please let us know if you are going to arrive later then 4:30pm PST.

Practical Packing Suggestions: Camera, all bedding and pillows, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, life jackets, salt, pepper and all condiments, tin foil, blender, favorite Teflon frying pan, specialty steak knives, paper towels, face tissues, shampoo, DVDs, water toys & air pump, suntan lotion, insect repellent, flashlight, first aid kit, games, cards etc.

Inventory Provided: Fully furnished condos, dishes, pots & pans, glasses, coffee machine, toaster, cutlery, tea towels, dish cloths, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, bath matt, oven mitts, etc. are supplied in each condo.

Bedding:   Please bring your own bedding, pillows and towels as these items are not supplied. No rental bedding packages are available.

Damage Deposit:  $500.00 damage deposit will be collected at check-in (Visa, MasterCard or Cash) and is fully refundable 48 hours after check-out providing there has been no violations:

• damage caused to the rental unit
• lost or missing inventory
• pets found to be in or at the condo
• smoking inside the condo or garage
• lost keys
• excessively unclean unit ~ please take out garbage, run dishwasher & leave unit neat & tidy
• late check-out   ~ checkout time is no later then 10:00am on last day

                                     ~ early am check outs ~ drop keys into silver drop box located beside Three Buoys Office door

Parking: There are designated parking areas at White Pines for each condo. At check-in we will inform you as to where   your parking area is located and the location of the temporary parking areas, however if you are unsure as to where you can park you must call Three Buoys for clarification. Unauthorized vehicles in fire lanes and another condo’s parking stall will be towed. Three Buoys is not responsible for any parking tickets, fines or towing fees.

Trailers: all trailers must be parked inside the condo’s garage or at a storage facility. Any trailers left outside of a garage at White Pines will be fined. Three Buoys is not responsible for any parking tickets, fines or towing fees.

Boat Slips at White Pines: Three Buoys shall not be responsible to adjust amounts paid due to any inconvenience due to the water level of Mara Lake; including but not limited to shallow boat slips.

Pets:   Renters are not allowed any pets inside or outside of the condo or garages … no exceptions.

Allergies:   Customer must alert Three Buoys of any allergies to pets prior to booking, as some owners bring their own pets into their condo during the off season. No compensation will be paid due to allergies of any kind.

Max 8 People Total allowed in condo & garage.

No Smoking:  Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all the condos and garages.

Common Sense: be courteous to neighbours:

• keep music & TV volume down
• avoid slamming doors
• BBQ must be moved away from the building to avoid melting the siding
• park vehicle as tight as possible within designated parking area

Garbage & Recycle: large bins are provided on site. No garbage or recycled cans are allowed on the deck or lawn area.

Lock all vehicles, garage and condo at all times.

Quiet Time is 11:00pm PST: Violators can be fined by the White Pines Strata Management and Sicamous Bylaw Officer. Three Buoys will not be responsible for any fines.

Liability: Three Buoys Management Corporation shall not be liable for any personal injury to or any loss of or damages to the personal property of the guests during the duration of the rental period or occurring with-in White Pines Resorts, White Pines Estates or Three Buoys Management Corporation Marina and Storage premises. The guests agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify Three Buoys from any and all damages, claims, actions or costs which arise out of the use of the Condo, it’s equipment or accessories, by the guests, of any kind whatsoever.
